As I write this description from my office in Abu Dhabi, I think about what I wish I would’ve known earlier in my college career to better prepare for a global career. This workshop is designed to do just that. We will be going over:
Paths of least resistance to create a career that is not limited to the confines of national borders.
How to network your way into global opportunities.
Where to look for global opportunities.
Most importantly, how to prepare yourself for a career that is limitless.
These are gems that I picked up over my five and half years of working abroad and my 14 years since graduating from Cheyney University of Pennsylvania.
Some of the pre-work that is worth doing in preparation for this workshop is to build a LinkedIn profile, think of 3 countries you would like to work in, and to have a draft of your resume ready.
