Are you a leader in your community? Do you enjoy sharing resources in your social circle? If that sounds like you, we would love for you to apply to The HBCU Career Center’s ambassador program!

This is a seasonal, paid opportunity open to students, alumni, educators, career coaches, community leaders and folks who are enthusiastic or interested in learning more about professional development.

The HBCU Career Center was developed to assist in professional growth amongst HBCU students and alumni and we are looking for your help in spreading the word about job opportunities and career development resources.

Depending on your interests, there are four distinct directions for what being an ambassador could look like:

  • Facilitate and present The HBCU Career Center’s workshops to your local community - Best for those who are leaders in local groups like nonprofits, schools, churches, alumni associations, clubs and more.

  • Share our resources through your social media channels and help create content - Best for those who love social media, have engaged followers and like the idea of being a being a career development advocate on their page consistently for a few months at a time.

  • Table at events within the HBCU community to share resources and build our network - Best for those who are currently enrolled at an HBCU and like attending school events.

  • Promote our job board on your website - Do you have a website that has a lot of HBCU student and alumni visitors that might be interested in our job and internship openings? Embed a small widget of our job board on your website that shares a feed of new opportunities daily.

Note: Applications will be collected on a rolling basis and applicants will be reached out to if their availability and location align with current event or media openings.
