About Edmond W. Davis
Edmond W. Davis is a world-class speaker, social historian, IAPP-licensed international journalist, and education consultant specializing in social and emotional intelligence. Davis has spoken to thousands, from universities and colleges to museums, education conferences, and professional development workshops.
Davis advocates for quality education, inclusive cultural competence, social justice, equity and safety for all youth and young adults through his work as an educator and the founding of RESPOND-I-BILITY. RESPOND-I-BILITY is a community outreach program that fosters cultural and social competencies designed to equip young minorities with skills needed to 'respond-responsibly' when engaged with law enforcement authorities and others in their peer groups.
In 2022, he launched the first-ever HBCU Black Wall Street Career Fest, a groundbreaking event dedicated to empowering the next generation of HBCU leaders and entrepreneurs. He is a global authority on Tuskegee Airmen and women's military history.
Since publishing "Pioneering African-American Aviators: Featuring the Tuskegee Airmen of Arkansas.” Davis has delivered insightful talks nationwide. Davis earned his Bachelor of Arts in History at Grambling State University; in 2003, Davis graduated with a Master of Arts in History from Louisiana Tech University.
